Byron Paúl Maza Chalán

Byron Maza was born in Loja, Equator, in 1983. He received his Diploma in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from Technic Particular of Loja University (UTPL) in 2006 and the MSc degree in Electrical Engineering focusing in Communications Systems from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO) in 2012. Since January 2007, he has worked at UTPL as a teacher in the Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering and researcher in the Telecommunications and Network Group form Computer Science and Electronic Department (DCCE). His research interests lie in communications systems, focusing on optimal detectors for digital receivers, and digital transmissions. He has one article in the Science Direct magazine and one publication in the SBRT 12 congress.
