Claude Cohen holds a DSc. in Energy Planning with an emphasis in environmental planning from the Energy Planning Program of COPPE/UFRJ and a Master's degree in Development Economics from the University of Paris X Nanterre. Currently, she is also an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics at UFF, a permanent professor at the Research and Extension Center on Judicial Power Sciences and Graduate Program in Administrative Justice at UFF (NUPEJ / PPGA / UFF), a researcher at PPE/ COPPE / UFRJ, and is the coordinator of the Center of Studies on Innovation, Environment and Sustainability (NIMAS), She was visiting professor of Energy Planning Program at COPPE/UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and of GREThA at Université de Bordeaux, France, and visiting researcher of LATTS at Université Paris-Est-Marne la Vallée, Paris France. Claude Cohen é doutora em Planejamento Energético com Ênfase em Planejamento Ambiental pelo Programa de Planejamento Energético (PPE) da COPPE/UFRJ e mestre em Economia do Desenvolvimento pela Université de Paris X Nanterre. Atualmente, além de professora associada da Faculdade de Economia da UFF, professora permanente do Núcleo de Pesquisa e Extensão sobre Ciências do Poder Judiciário e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Justiça Administrativa da UFF (NUPEJ/PPGA/UFF), pesquisadora do PPE/COPPE/UFRJ, é coordenadora do Núcleo de Inovação, Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade (NIMAS).
