Rafaella Oliveira dos Santos

Graduated in Pharmacy from Centro Universitário do Norte, (2012). Master's Degree in the Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology at the Federal University of Amazonas (2016). PhD in Basic and Applied Immunology from the Federal University of Amazonas (2021). Studying specialization in Hematology and Hemotherapy. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Immunology, parasitology, virology and oncohematological diseases. Acting mainly in the metabolism of Tryptophan and immunopathogenesis of infectious diseases (Malaria, Coronavirus and HIV) and molecular diagnosis of oncohematological patients. With experience in quantification of metabolites by HPLC, cell immunophenotyping by flow cytometry, quantification of cytokines by CBA, ELISAs, cell culture (Immortalized and PBMC), cell transformation, development of rapid tests and molecular biology. He is currently working in the Post-doctorate at Fiocruz, with emphasis on the development and application of "Rapid diagnostic test for Asymptomatic Vivax Malaria".

Possui graduação em Farmácia pelo Centro Universitário do Norte, (2012). Mestrado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Imunologia Básica e Aplicada pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas (2016). Doutora em Imunologia Básica e Aplicada pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas (2021). Cursando especialização em Hematologia Clínica e Hemoterapia. Tem experiência na área de Imunologia, parasitologia, virologia e doenças oncohematológicas. Atuando principalmente no metabolismo de Triptofano, imunopatogênese de doenças infecciosas (Malária, Coronavírus e HIV) e diagnóstico por biologia molecular de doenças oncohematológicas (leucemias mielóides e linfóides). Com experiência em quantificação de metabólitos por HPLC, Imunofenotipagem celular por citometria de fluxo, quantificação de citocinas por CBA, ELISA, cultura de células (Imortalizadas e PBMC), transformação de células, desenvolvimento de testes rápidos e técnicas de biologia molecular.
