Paolo Augustus Freitas Silva

Agronomist engineer graduated from the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid - UFERSA (2011.2). Master's science in Agricultural Entomology from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - UFRPE (2014.1), Acting in area Toxicology of insecticides with emphasis on resistance of insects to insecticides. Formed as Operator of microcomputers by the Federal Institute for Education and Science and Technology - IFRN (2005). Operates on the following topics: Toxicology of insecticides, plant protection, integrated pest management, biological control of leafminer (Liriomyza sativae and Liriomyza trifolli) using its natural enemy Opius scabriventris and resistance management of Plutella xylostella, Tuta absoluta and Liriomyza spp.

Engenheiro agrônomo graduado pela Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido - UFERSA (2011.2). Doutor em entomologia agrícola pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco - UFRPE (2019.1), Atuando na área de Toxicologia de inseticidas com ênfase em Resistência de insetos a inseticidas. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Resistência de pragas a inseticidas, Toxicologia de inseticidas, Proteção de plantas, Manejo Integrado de Pragas, Controle biológico.
