Luis Carlos Fabrício Filho

Master in Mechanical Engineering by the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), where he also graduated in Mechanical Engineering. Assisted in the assembly and installation of the Circulating Water Channel (CWC) at UFPE, having received installation and operation training by personnel from the equipment manufacturer (FEL - West Japan Fluid Engineering Laboratory). Has internship experience at Oshima Shipyard (Oshima Shipbuilding Co.), Japan. Participated in PBL (Project Based Learning) programs and mini-courses by the following universities: The University of Tokyo, Yokohama National University (YNU), Osaka University and Federal University of Pernambuco. He studied on the themes: computer radiography of friction stir welded joints (FSW) and hydrodynamics of the ship, with a focus on wave-making resistance.

Mestre em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), instituição na qual também se graduou em Engenharia Mecânica. Assistiu na montagem e instalação do Tanque de Água Circulante (CWC) na UFPE, tendo recebido treinamento de instalação e operação por pessoal da empresa fabricante do equipamento (FEL - West Japan Fluid Engineering Laboratory). Tem experiência de estágio no Estaleiro Oshima (Oshima Shipbuilding Co.), Japão. Participou de programas e minicursos PBL (Project Based Learning) pelas seguintes universidades: The University of Tokyo, Yokohama National University (YNU), Osaka University e Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Estudou os temas: radiografia computadorizada de juntas soldadas por fricção e mistura (FSW - Friction Stir Welding) e hidrodinâmica do navio, com foco em resistência de formação de ondas (wave-making resistance).
