Daniel Neves Micha

Pesquisador no III-V Lab (Nokia Bell Labs France) desde 11/2022 até o presente. Atua na pesquisa de soluções inovadoras na área de materiais e dispositivos semicondutores para telecomunicações e energia solar, usando em especial a nanotecnologia e a fotônica. Mantém colaboração em pesquisa com o Laboratório de Semicondutores, PUC-Rio, desde 2007 e trabalhou como pesquisador no Fraunhofer Institut für Solare Energie Systeme, em Freiburg, na Alemanha, entre 2013 e 2014, e no Institut Photovoltaïque d'Ille de France, em Palaiseau, na França, entre 2020 e 2022. É doutor em física pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2015) e mestre em física pela mesma instituição (2010). Atuou 10 anos como professor do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET/RJ) campus Petrópolis (2010 a 2020), onde lecionou em cursos de graduação (engenharias e licenciaturas) e de pós-graduação (mestrado em energia elétrica), orientou alunos de IC e mestrado, ofereceu projetos de extensão com a comunidade e foi coordenador de curso (licenciatura em física).

Research Engineer in the III-V Lab (Nokia Bell Labs France) since 11/2022, Daniel works in the Research and Development team in the search of inovative solutions for semiconductor devices dedicated to telecommunication using nanotechnology and photonics. Since 2007, he keeps a research colaboration with the Semiconductor Laboratory, PUC-Rio, Brazil. From 2013 to 2014, he worked in the Fraunhofer Institut für Solare Energie Systeme, in Freiburg, Germany, and from 2020 to 2022, in the Institut Photovoltaïque d'Ille de France, in Palaiseau, France. Daniel is a PhD in Physics by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2015) and has a masters in Physics by the same institution (2010). He worked as a professor during 10 years in the Ferderal Center for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET/RJ), in Petrópolis, Brazil (2010 a 2020), where he taught in undergraduation and graduation courses (enginnering and bachelor), supervised students, offered extension projects to the community and was the Head of the Department of Physics for 2 years.
