José Mauro da Silva

Has degree in Computer Science from the University of Goiás (1989), specialization in Analysis and Design of Information Systems (1997) and Masters in Computer Science (2007), both at the Federal University of Goiás. Acts professionally in Computer Science since 1986 in the following organizations: UFG, CELG, OJC, MABEL, BEG and others. Since 1998 works in DATAPREV - Enterprise Information Technology and Social Security. Have experience in Computer Science, with emphasis on methods and techniques of computer, working in the following segments: Banking, Law, Energy, Industrial, Social Security and others. More recent work is related to Semantic Web, Computational Linguistics and Epistemology. Currently, research is in the following areas of expertise: Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Knowledge Discovery from Text, Semantic Web, Business Process Management, Service Oriented Architecture, CSCW and, Interactive Digital TV.

Possui graduação em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (1989), especialização em Análise e Projeto de Sistemas de Informação (1997) e mestrado em Ciência da Computação (2007), ambos pela Universidade Federal de Goiás. Atua profissionalmente em Ciência da Computação desde 1986 nas seguintes organizações: UFG, CELG, OJC, MABEL, BEG e outras. Desde 1998 trabalha na DATAPREV - Empresa de Tecnologia e Informações da Previdência Social. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Metodologia e Técnicas de Computação, atuando nos seguintes segmentos: Bancário, Direito, Energia Elétrica, Industrial, Previdência Social e outros. Os trabalhos mais recentes se referem a Web Semântica, Epistemologia e Lingüística Computacional. Atualmente, desenvolve pesquisas nas seguintes areas de conhecimento: Inteligência Artificial, Gestão do Conhecimento, Descoberta de Conhecimento em Texto, Web Semântica, Gerenciamento de Processos de Negócio, Arquitetura Orientada a Serviço, CSCW e TV Digital Interativa.
