Maria Alexandra da Silva Monteiro Mustafá

Assistente Social pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco ? UFPE - Brasil (1982); possui Mestrado em Serviço Social pela mesma universidade (1992), doutorado em Filosofia - Università Pontificia Salesiana di Roma - Itália (1999) e Pós-Doutorado em Sociologia na Universidade Roma Tre - Itália (2012-2013). Atualmente é professora associada IV da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Fez trabalho comunitário na favela Vila dos Milagres por 6 anos. Tem experiência em atuação junto aos Movimentos Sociais, (Movimento de Escolas Comunitárias, Movimento de Defesa dos Favelados, Movimento Popular Pró-Constituinte, Comunidade Eclesial de Base - junto à arquidiocese de Olinda em Recife, quando D. Hélder Câmara era bispo (Comunidades do Vietnam, Planeta dos Macacos e Vila dos Milagres), em âmbito local e nacional, desde a década de 80. tTm experiência em Serviço Social de empresa pública na área de recursos humanos, tendo implantado o Serviço Social na FUNDAJ (Fundação Joaquim Nabuco - PE) em 1991. Atua na docência universitária, desde 1992, inicialmente na UFPB e, desde 1992 na UFPE, como professora na área de Fundamentos do Serviço Social, em nível de graduação (com as disciplinas Ética Profissional, Política de Assistência Social, Questão Social e Gerontologia social) e na pós-graduação (com as disciplinas: Matrizes da Teoria Social; Serviço Social Avançado e Questão Social e Serviço Social). Foi Chefe do Departamento de Serviço Social da UFPE, por duas gestões, até o ano de 20006; secretária da Abepss, na gestão 2006 a 2008 e Coordenadora do Programa de Pós-graduação em Serviço Social da UFPE até outubro de 2009. É criadora e coordenadora do GEPE (Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Ética, desde o ano de 2000), quando editou a (Revista Presença Ética 2000 a 2003), desenvolvendo pesquisas que abordam principalmente os seguintes temas: ética, direitos humanos, serviço social, projeto ético-político do S.S. e exercício profissional, movimentos sociais e políticas sociais (incluindo-se aí pesquisas sobre o PETI- Programa de Erradicação do Trabalho Infantil e o Projovem), gerontologia social e internacionalização do Serviço Social. Coordena o Intercâmbio entre o Serviço Social Brasileiro e o Italiano, tendo sido promotora do convenio bilateral entre a Universidade Federal de Pernambuco e a Universita` degli Studi Roma TRE e a Università di Milano Bicocca, e promotora do já bienal Encontro Internacional de Ética, Pesquisa Social e Direitos Humanos. Desenvolve o Curso Binacional de Serviço Social, para italianos e a pesquisa bilateral ?Desigualdades e direitos humanos?, no âmbito do PRINT (Projeto de Internacionalização do SS do Programa de Pós-graduação em SS da UFPE, a partir do qual desenvolveu a Missão de Trabalho na Itália,em outubro de 2019, nas cidades de Milão, Veneza e Roma. É coordenadora do acordo bilateral entre a Università Ca?Foscari di Venezia e o Departamento de Serviço Social da UFPE. Desenvolve um intercâmbio inter-institucional com a UECE, a partir da realização do Curso ?Ética, Ideologia e Mídia: combate ao conservadorismo no SS e na Sociedade?, em 2017. É membro do Conselho Editorial da Revista Argumentum. . É Member Large da Associação Internacional de Escolas de Serviço Social ? IASSW/AIETS desde 2020, na qual está coordenando a Pesquisa Internacional Teoria e Prática do Serviço Social no Mundo em Tempos de Pandemia., que envolve pesquisadores do Brasil, Argentina, Itália, Espanha, Suécia e França. É editora da Revista Cadernos GEPE, publicada no Portal de Periódicos da UFPE. É autora e organizadora de vários livros:"Ser Social: Ética, Pesquisa Social e Direitos Humanos"; Ética: Fundamentos Filosóficos e Históricos na Contramão da Ideologia"; "Etica nel Servizio Sociale Brasiliano"; "Serviço Social e Gerontologia: a proteção da pessoa idosa em tempos de pandemia".
