Paola Andrea Galbiatti Pedruzzi

After receiving my Medical Degree in 1996 at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, in the city of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, I completed 4 years of residency in Surgery and Surgical Oncology and another 2 years of Head and Neck Surgery at Erasto Gaertner Hospital in Curitiba, finishing in 2002. Since there I have been working on Head and Neck Surgery at Hospital Erasto Gaertner, Instituto de Oncologia do Paraná (IOP) and Oncoville. In 2004 I spent four months at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong with prof. Willian Wei and in 2007 finished my master degree in Sao Paulo with professor Luiz Paulo Kowalski. I took an specialization on Palliative Medicine at Instituto Paliar - São Paulo in 2016 and 2017 . In 2018 I started a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at Arizona University, finishing in 2020. In 2019 I had the opportunity to visit and intern for a few weeks in the Medicine and Integrative Oncology Departments of MD Anderson Cancer Center. Houston, Texas, and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York.
