Daniele Pereira Canedo

Daniele Pereira Canedo is a producer and cultural manager, capoeirista and professor at the Center for Culture, Languages ​​and Applied Technologies at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) and collaborating professor at the Nucleus of Postgraduate Studies in Administration (NPGA), at the Federal University of Bahia. Bahia (UFBA). She acts as Head of the Extension and Culture Nucleus at Cecult/UFRB and represents the University in the international Digital Communication Leadership Consortium (EU Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree). She is a researcher and coordinates the Creative Economy Observatory (OBEC-BA), and is a member of the research groups Motriz ? Laboratory of Politics, Management and Cultural Studies (UFRB); the Center for Multidisciplinary Studies in Culture (CULT/UFBA), and the Organization, Culture and Art Collective (OCA/UFBA). He is also a member of the Management Council for the Safeguarding of Capoeira in Bahia and the Association of Producers and Filmmakers of Bahia (APC-BA). In recent years, she served as coordinator of Culture and University at the Pro-Rectory of Extension at UFRB (Jan 2019 to April 2022), and served two terms (2018-2022) as advisor representing the audiovisual sector at the Municipal Council of Cultural Policies of Salvador. Daniele holds a degree in Production in Communication and Culture from the Faculty of Communication (FACOM/UFBA), where she also completed a master's and doctorate in the Multidisciplinary Graduate Program in Culture and Society (UFBA), in the Culture and Development line, obtaining a double degree - PhD in Media and Communication Studies, from the Free University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, VUB). Conducted post-doctoral internships at the Communication and Economics Observatory (OBSCOM) of the Graduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS); and at the Center for Graduate Studies in Administration (NPGA/UFBA). He has professional experience in the area of ​​Communication, having worked for more than six years at the Communication Department of the Government of the State of Bahia (Secom/BA, formerly Agecom), from 2001 to 2007. He also worked in the area of ​​cultural management and public policies, highlighting her experience at the Secretariat of Culture of Bahia (Secult BA), from 2007 to 2009, as Coordinator of Territorial Development of Culture. As a researcher, she is interested in the following general themes: culture, cultural diversity and cultural rights; economy of culture and creative economy; cultural management and policies; cultural statistics and indicators; and as themes of sectorial research, he has been more specifically dedicated to audiovisual and capoeira.

Daniele Pereira Canedo é produtora e gestora cultural, capoeirista e professora do Centro de Cultura, Linguagens e Tecnologias Aplicadas da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) e professora colaboradora do Núcleo de Pós-Graduação em Administração (NPGA), da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). Atua como Chefe do Núcleo de Extensão e Cultura do Cecult/UFRB e representa a Universidade no Consórcio internacional Digital Communication Leadership (EU Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree). É pesquisadora e está na coordenação do Observatório da Economia Criativa (OBEC-BA), e é membro dos grupos de pesquisas Motriz ? Laboratório de Política, Gestão e Estudos da Cultura (UFRB); do Centro de Estudos Multidisciplinares em Cultura (CULT/UFBA), e do Coletivo Organização, Cultura e Arte (OCA/UFBA). Nos últimos anos, atuou como coordenadora de Cultura e Universidade na Pró-Reitoria de Extensão da UFRB (jan 2019 a abril 2022), e exerceu dois mandatos (2018-2022) como conselheira representante do audiovisual no Conselho Municipal de Políticas Culturais de Salvador. Daniele é graduada em Produção em Comunicação e Cultura pela Faculdade de Comunicação (FACOM/UFBA), onde também fez mestrado e doutorado no Programa Multidisciplinar de Pós-Graduação em Cultura e Sociedade (UFBA), na linha Cultura e Desenvolvimento, obtendo dupla titulação - PhD in Media and Communication Studies, pela Universidade Livre de Bruxelas (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, VUB). Realizou estágios de pós-doutoramento no Observatório de Comunicação e Economia (OBSCOM) do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS); e no Núcleo de Pós-Graduação em Administração (NPGA/UFBA). Tem experiência profissional na área da Comunicação, tendo atuado por mais de seis anos na Secretaria de Comunicação do Governo do Estado da Bahia (Secom/BA, antiga Agecom), de 2001 a 2007. Também trabalhou na área de gestão cultural e políticas públicas, destacando-se a experiência na Secretaria da Cultura da Bahia (Secult BA), de 2007 a 2009, como Coordenadora de Desenvolvimento Territorial da Cultura. Como pesquisadora, tem interesse nos seguintes temas gerais: cultura, diversidade cultural e direitos culturais; economia da cultura e economia criativa; gestão e políticas culturais; estatísticas e indicadores culturais; e como temas de pesquisas setoriais tem se dedicado mais especificadamente ao audiovisual e a capoeira.
