Is an Architect and Urbanist, Doctor and an Environmental Design Tutor at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, in London, and at the Bartlett School of Architecture of the University Colleague London (UCL), in London. Is Research Supervisor and Module Leader at the Architecture and Environmental Design Master Programme of the School of Architecture and Cities of the University of Westminster and of the post-graduate programme in Architecture and Urbanism of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Sao Paulo (FAUUSP). Was Associated Professor at FAUUSP between 1998 and 2019. Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1993), was awarded her master´s degree in Environment and Energy in the Architectural Association Graduate School in London (1997), PhD. degree (2003) and Pos-Doc (2015) from FAUUSP. Between 2009 and 2013, she was a Supervisor of the graduate programme Sustainable Environmental Design (SED), at the Architectural Association Graduate School. In 2011 was Visiting Lecturer in the Graduate School of Design (GSD), in the Harvard University. Between 2015 and 2018 was Visiting Professor Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment da University of Westminster. In 2019 was Visiting Lecturer in the University of Nottingham, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Architecture. Since 2018 is a Director of the international organization PLEA - Passive and Low Energy Architecture. She coordinates international collaboration projects between FAUUSP and UK institutions, including the University of Nottingham, Portsmouth and Westminster. Has experience in the field of Architecture and Urbanism with emphasis on environmental responsive design. Was granted the CNPq Scholarship for Productivity between 2016 and 2019.

Atuou como docente da FAUUSP entre 1998 e 2019, onde foi chefe do Departamento de Tecnologia desta faculdade entre 2015 e 2019. Possui graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1993). Coordena projetos de colaboração internacional entre a FAUUSP e insituições do Reino Unido, incluindo as universidades de Nottingham, Portsmouth e Westminster. Desde 2017 é Diretora da organização internacional PLEA ? Passive and Low Energy Architecture. Tem experiência na área de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, com ênfase em Adequação Ambiental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: arquitetura Bioclimática, conforto ambiental e eficiência energética. Teve Bolsa Produtividade do CNPq entre 2016 e 2019.
