Prof. Dr. Carlos Tavares da Costa Júnior

He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará - UFPA (1987), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - COPPE / UFRJ (1991), a Master's (1996) and a PhD (1999) in Automatique et Productique by Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble - INPG-France. He is currently a Full Professor at UFPA, linked to the Faculty of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering (FEEB), working mainly on the following topics: Control Systems, Dynamics and Control of Power Systems, Adaptive Systems, Modeling and Identification of Systems, and Systems and Control Fuzzy. He also works in the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE), at UFPA, where he is the current Coordinator.

Possui Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Pará - UFPA (1987), Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro - COPPE / UFRJ (1991), Mestrado (1996) e Doutorado (1999) em Automatique et Productique pelo Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble - INPG-França. Atualmente é Professor Titular da UFPA, vinculado à Faculdade de Engenharia Elétrica e Biomédica (FEEB), atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Sistemas de Controle, Dinâmica e Controle de Sistemas de Potência, Sistemas Adaptativos, Modelagem e Identificação de Sistemas, e Sistemas e Controle Fuzzy. Atua também no Programa de Pós Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica (PPGEE), da UFPA, onde é o atual Coordenador.
