Graduated in Psychology at the University of Wroclaw/Poland in 2002. Finished her Master's degree in Gerontology in 2005 at the Heidelberg University/Germany, and received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the same university in 2011. From November 2007 to June 2012 was Research Associate at the Institute of Gerontology, Heidelberg University/Germany. Has experience in Psychology, focusing on Psychology of Aging and Gerontology. Her research interests revolve around life span psychology and adaptation in old age, and include following areas: psychological theories of age and aging, quality of life and well-being in old age, successful aging and its determinants, personal resources and their contribution to well-being, life span cognitive development (identification of patterns of change), longevity/extreme old age, and thanatology.
Possui Doutorado em Psicologia e Mestrado em Gerontologia pela Universidade de Heidelberg/Alemanha (respectivamente em 2011 e 2005). Graduou-se em Psicologia pela Universidade de Wroclaw/Polônia em 2002. Seus interesses de pesquisa e docência incluem psicologia do desenvolvimento, psicologia do envelhecimento, processos de desenvolvimento, processos de envelhecimento, bem-estar psicológico, interdisciplinaridade, gerontologia.
