Roney Fontes Guimarães

He graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Santa Cruz (2007). It is currently a public servant in the Technical University function in the Laboratory Management of the State University of Santa Cruz, works in the Herbarium HUESC where catalogs and stores botanical biological collections. He has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Plant Breeding and Biotechnology, working mainly on the following topic: tissue culture, proteomics, botany and morphology of plants.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2007) e mestrado em Produção Vegetal pela Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2016). Atualmente é técnico universitário da Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz. Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em biotecnologia e botânica.
