Matheus L. Oliveira is a full-time associate professor and researcher at the University of Campinas, Piracicaba Dental School (FOP/Unicamp) since 2015. He received his DDS degree from the Sao Paulo State University (FOAr/UNESP), and holds Master's, PhD and Postdoctoral degrees in Oral Radiology from FOP/Unicamp. He has also served as a visiting researcher at the University of California at Los Angeles in the USA, Paris Descartes Sorbonne University in France, Aarhus University in Denmark, and Kyushu University in Japan, and also held the position of coordinator of the postgraduate program in Oral Radiology at FOP/Unicamp. Currently, he serves as an honorary visiting researcher at the University of Basel in Switzerland and is a member of the scientific and educational committees of the IADMFR- International Association of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology. He contributes as a reviewer for several scientific journals, including the Journal of Dental Research, DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology, Clinical Oral Investigations, and Scientific Reports and has participated as an invited speaker at multiple conferences, including the Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Division of the IADR (2019) and the Osteology Symposium in Barcelona (2019). Recently, he was awarded an Invitational Fellowship for Research in Japan by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Matheus L. Oliveira é professor livre-docente na Faculdade de Odontologia de Piracicaba da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (FOP/Unicamp). Concluiu graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (FOAr/UNESP), mestrado, doutorado e pós-doutorado em Radiologia Odontológica pela FOP/Unicamp. Atuou como pesquisador visitante na Universidade da Califórnia em Los Angeles nos EUA, Universidade Paris Descartes Sorbonne na França, na Universidade de Aarhus na Dinamarca e na Universidade de Kyushu no Japão. Também atuou como coordenador do programa de pós-graduação em Radiologia Odontológica da FOP/Unicamp. Atualmente, é pesquisador visitante honorário da Universidade de Basel na Suíça e membro do comitê científico e educacional do IADMFR-International Association of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology. Atua como revisor para revistas científicas como o Journal of Dental Research, DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology, Clinical Oral Investigations e Scientific Reports e participou como palestrante convidado em conferências, incluindo a Reunião Anual da SBPqO e o Osteology Symposium em Barcelona.
