Khashayar Kianfar
I have an M.Sc in Physics in the field of Cosmology and relativity under the supervision of Prof. Dr. S.H. Mazharimousavi. I have worked on some class of thin-shell wormholes in the modified theory of gravity, namely f (R)-gravity. Also, I had some researches on the analytical and Numerical solution of Geodesics Equations. During these years, I have studied some courses such as; Differential Geometry, General Relativity, Electrodynamics, Classical Mechanics, Cosmology. Also, during my B.Sc, I took a long time on optics courses (Laser, Applied optics, spectroscopy,..) and some courses on Astronomy. while, I have to say that I have a good ability with some computational programs like Maple, Matlab, Python, Sage, C++, IRAF, SciLab, CASA, BBarolo, and Linux OS,... During my B.sc at the University of Tehran (2008- 2014), I did some works related to my field of interest astronomy. I was the manager of the Astronomy group of the university from 2009 -2014. My B.sc project was searching for elements of lunar orbits based on observation. Also in 2010, We made one group in our university and we started to make a radio telescope in the range of Very Low Frequency (VLF) to detect any kind of effect of solar flares or possible gamma-ray bursts on the Ionosphere. Recently, I have contacted the ALMA group at ESO( Garching) and I have started to get acquainted with casa data and working on data of AGN nearby samples to study CO emission lines. We use ALMA data to study distribution, dynamics, and kinematics of the gas both molecular and in the atomic phase is key to determine the role of outflows driven by Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), infall motions around the AGN, and the global AGN feeding and feedback impacting galaxy evolution. Now, I am a Ph.D. student at ITA under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mariana Dutra, We are going to work on Neutron Stars, the equation of state, and their deformability.
