Chemistry degree from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas - 2012 (UDFJC) Colombia, Master in Applied Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa - 2016 (UEPG) - Brazil and Ph.D. in chemistry from Universidade Federal de Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) -Brazil with international Ph.D on advanced oxidation processes label. Exchange student - University of Porto (Portugal 2019) and ELAP 2020 fellow- University of Manitoba (Canada).
Currently, postdoctoral researcher at the ICRA institute (Spain) as a member of the electron4water group, investigating the development of reactive electrochemical membranes based on graphene with 2D materials and the identification of transformation products in the cathodic and anodic treatment of emerging pollutants. Postdoctoral Fellowships Juan de la Cierva and Marie Skłodowska-Curie (2022).
Professional in Chemistry focused on Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, working on topics such as advanced oxidation processes for the degradation of emerging pollutants and analysis of transformation products. Experience with routine chromatography (HPLC-DAD, LC-QTOF MS, LC-Qtrap MS and LC-Orbitrap MS), electrochemical characterization techniques, design and optimization of experiments, (Q)SAR tools for toxicity risk and science education.
