Bruno Ramos Mendonça

Bruno Ramos Mendonça is professor of philosophy in the Federal University of the South Border (UFFS). He has a MA on philosophy by the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, 2013) and a PhD on Philosophy from the State University of Campinas (2018, Unicamp) with the thesis "Traditional theory of semantic information without scandal of deduction" (CAPES best thesis prize, 2019). He works on logic and analytic philosophy with emphasis in the following topics: epistemology of logic, theory of semantic information, the nature of diagrammatic reasoning and history of logic.

Bruno Ramos Mendonça é professor de filosofia na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS). Ele é mestre em filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM, 2013) e doutor em filosofia pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp, 2018) com a tese "Traditional theory of semantic information without scandal of deduction" (Prêmio CAPES de melhor tese, 2019). Mendonça atua em temas de lógica e filosofia analítica com ênfase nos seguintes tópicos: epistemologia da lógica, filosofia da informação, a natureza do raciocínio diagramático e história da lógica.
