Alessandro Carvalho Miola

Doctor in Agricultural Engineering (2013), in the area of Concentration of Water and Soil Engineering, Master of Geomatics (2004) and holds a degree in Forestry (1999), the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). He is currently Professor at UFSM (SIAPE No. 1,740,567) in the GIS area and Director of Research and Extension (Ordinance No. 462/2015 of 03.08.2015) of the Polytechnic College of UFSM. Operates scientifically and technically in analysis, management and integrated watershed management, with an emphasis on numerical modeling (DEM), and GNSS surveying, remote sensing, geographic information systems, municipal technical cadastre and land management.

Doutor em Engenharia Agrícola (2013), na Área de Concentração de Engenharia de Água e Solo, Mestre em Geomática (2004) e Graduado em Engenharia Florestal (1999), pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Atualmente é Professor da UFSM (SIAPE nº 1740567) na Área de Geoprocessamento e Diretor de Pesquisa e Extensão do Colégio Politécnico da UFSM. Atua científica e tecnicamente em análise, gestão e manejo integrado de bacias hidrográficas, com ênfase em modelagem numérica de terreno (MNT), Topografia e GNSS, Sensoriamento Remoto, Sistemas de Informações Geográficas, Cadastro Técnico Municipal e Gestão Territorial.
