Cristine Homsi Jorde Ferreira

Graduated in Physical Therapy from the University of Ribeirão Preto (1995), Master's (2000) and Ph.D. (2004) in Public Health Nursing from the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto-University of São Paulo. She is Associate Professor 3 at the Department of Health Sciences at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School-USP, Currently coordinator of the Graduate Program in Rehabilitation and Functional Performance (2022-2024), responsible for the area of Physical Therapy in Women's Health, currently researching topics related to evaluation methods and physiotherapeutic intervention related to the female pelvic floor, pregnancy and the puerperium. She completed her post-doctoral studies at Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne, Australia in 2013 and became an Associate Professor in 2017. She is a founding member and was the first President of the Brazilian Association of Physical Therapy in Women's Health (ABRAFISM), and is currently Scientific Director of this Association. In addition to being Chief Delegate Representative of Brazil at the "International Organization of Physiotherapists in Pelvic and Women's Health (IOPPWH) she was elected Vice-President of this subgroup of "World Physiotherapy" (2023-2027). She has given lectures in recognized international associations such as "World Physiotherapy", "International Continence Society" - ICS" and "International Urogynecology Association" (IUGA). She is Editor-in-Chief of the "Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy" (2023-2027).

Possui graduação em Fisioterapia pela Universidade de Ribeirão Preto (1995), mestrado (2000) e doutorado (2004) em Enfermagem em Saúde Pública pela Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto-Universidade de São Paulo. É Professora associada 3 do Departamento de Ciências da Saúde da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto- USP, atualmente é coordenadora do Programa de Pós-graduação em Reabilitação e Desempenho Funcional (2022-2024), responsável pela área de Fisioterapia na Saúde da Mulher, pesquisando atualmente temas relacionados aos métodos de avaliação e intervenção fisioterapêutica relacionados ao assoalho pélvico feminino, a gravidez e ao puerpério. Realizou seu pós-doutorado no Mercy Hospital for Women em Melbourne na Austrália em 2013 e concurso para livre-docente em 2017. É sócia fundadora e foi a primeira Presidente da Associação Brasileira de Fisioterapia em Saúde da Mulher (ABRAFISM), sendo atualmente Diretora Científica desta Associação. Além de ser Delegada Chefe Representante do Brasil na "International Organization of Physiotherapists s in Pelvic and Women's Health (IOPPWH) foi eleita Vice-Presidente deste subgrupo da "World Physiotherapy" (2023-2027). Tem ministrado palestras nos mais importantes eventos mundiais de reconhecidas associações internacionais como a "World Physiotherapy", "International Continence Society"- ICS" e "International Urogynecology Association" (IUGA). É Editora-Chefe do "Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy" (2023-2027).
