Thiago Allis

BA in Tourism from the University of São Paulo (2004), Master in Integration of Latin America at the University of São Paulo (2006) and PhD in Architecture and Urban Planning (Urban and Regional Planning Area, at FAU-USP), with special interests tourism, tourism planning, urban tourism and mobilities. He is currently professor at the School of Arts Sciences and Humanities, University of São Paulo (EACH-USP), and member of Tourism Post-Graduation Program. President of the EACH-USP International Relations Commission (2022-2024). In 2019, he was visiting lecturer at the University of Vienna (Institut für Soziologie) and, in 2012, at the National University of Timor Lorosa'e (East Timor), in the Department of Commerce and Tourism. Bacharel em Turismo pela Universidade de São Paulo (2004), Mestre em Integração da América Latina pela Universidade de São Paulo (2006) e Doutor em Arquitetura e Urbanismo, na Área de Planejamento Urbano e Regional (FAU-USP), com interesse nos assuntos ligados ao turismo, ao planejamento do turismo, ao turismo urbano e às mobilidades. Atualmente é Professor Associado (MS.3-5) pelo Curso de Lazer e Turismo, da Escola de Artes Ciências e Humanidades, da Universidade de São Paulo (EACH-USP) e ocupa a presidência da Comissão de Relações Internacionais, da EACH-USP (gestão 2022-2024). Atuou, em 2022, como professor visitante na Universidade de Viena (Áustria), junto ao Institut für Soziologie, e, em 2012, na Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa'e (Timor Leste), no Departamento de Comércio e Turismo. Em 2019, foi John Urry Fellow, no Centre for Mobilities Research (Lancaster University/Reino Unido). Lidera o Grupo de Pesquisa Mobilidades e Turismo (MobTur).
