Veronica Prudente Costa

Postdoctoral Internship at Fluminense Federal University -UFF, supervised by Dr. Silvio Renato Jorge, with the support of PROCAD Amazônia - CAPES. Doctorate and Master's Degree in Vernacular Letters (Portuguese and African Literature) at UFRJ. Bachelor's degree and degree in Languages: Portuguese/Literatures (2003) and English/Literatures (2000) at UERJ. Graduation in Portuguese Literature at UERJ (2003). She was an elementary school Teacher and also High School Teacher from 1995 to 2010. She was an Adjunct Professor at the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA) between 2011 and 2018. During this period, she organized the following scientific events with public financial support: IV North-Northeast Congress of ABRAPLIP (2012); I SIRELLMS (2013); ABRAPLIP in Tefé (2015) and XV International Congress of ABRAPLIP (2015). Coordinated the Degree in English Language (PARFOR) from 2014 to 2018; Coordinated the Lato Sensu Specialization course in Portuguese Language Teaching Methodology and its literatures, between 2014 and 2016. Editor-in-Chief of Contracurrent Magazine from 2015 to 2017; She coordinated the Research Project "Portuguese Presence in the Amazon" funded by CNPq from 2015 to 2017 and was sub-coordinator from 2016 to 2018 of Tefé campus of Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Human Sciences (PPGICH-UEA). Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of FAPEAM between 2015 and 2017 and a member of Research and Postgraduate Board of UEA between 2017 and 2018. Member of Brazilian Association of Portuguese Literature Teachers (ABRAPLIP) since 2012. She was the representative of the North Regional during 2012-2013 term; Executive Secretary of ABRAPLIP during 2014-2015 term; North Regional Representative during 2018-2019, 2021-2021, 2022-2023 administrations. Since 2019, she has been an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR); Co-leader of the research groups: Studies of Literatures and Identities (UFRR), Literatures, Africanities and Social Minorities (UFRR) and Amazonian Chair of Literary and Cultural Studies (UEA). She coordinated the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation Pibid-UFRR from 2021 to 2022. She is a permanent professor at the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Human Sciences (PPGICH-UEA), linked to the Interdisciplinary Amazon Network of Graduate Programs, and permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Letters (PPGL-UFRR), linked to the Network of Graduate Programs in Northern Region in the Area of #8203;#8203;Linguistics and Literature. She coordinated PPGL/UFRR from 2020 to 2022.

Realizou Estágio Pós doutoral na Universidade Federal Fluminense-UFF, supervisionada pelo Dr. Silvio Renato Jorge, com apoio do PROCAD Amazônia - CAPES (2022-2023). Possui Doutorado e Mestrado em Letras Vernáculas (Literatura Portuguesa e Africanas) pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Bacharelado e licenciatura nas áreas de Letras: Português/Literaturas (2003) e Inglês /Literaturas (2000) pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Especialização em Literatura Portuguesa pela UERJ (2003). Atuou como Professora da Educação Básica nos anos iniciais e finais do Ensino Fundamental e também no Ensino Médio regular e EJA nas disciplinas de Língua Portuguesa/Literaturas e Língua Inglesa de 1995 a 2010. Foi Professora Adjunta na Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA) entre 2011 e 2018. Durante esse período organizou os seguintes eventos científicos com fomento público: IV Congresso Norte-Nordeste da ABRAPLIP (2012); I SIRELLMS (2013); ABRAPLIP no Interior (2015) e XV Congresso Internacional da ABRAPLIP (2015). Coordenou o curso de Licenciatura em Língua Inglesa (PARFOR) de 2014 a 2018; Coordenou o curso de Especialização Lato Sensu em Metodologia do Ensino de Língua Portuguesa e suas literaturas entre 2014 e 2016. Foi Editora Chefe da Revista Contracorrente de 2015 a 2017; Coordenou o Projeto "Presença Portuguesa na Amazônia", financiado pelo CNPq de 2015 a 2017 e foi subcoordenadora de 2016 a 2018 do Polo Tefé do Programa de Pós-Graduação Interdisciplinar em Ciências Humanas (PPGICH-UEA). Foi membro da Câmara de Assessoramento Científico da FAPEAM entre 2015 e 2017 e Membro da Câmara de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação da UEA entre 2017 e 2018. Atua na Associação Brasileira de Professores de Literatura Portuguesa (ABRAPLIP) desde 2012, foi Secretária executiva da ABRAPLIP na gestão 2014-2015 e Representante Regional Norte nas gestões 2012-2013, 2018-2019, 2021-2021, 2022-2023. Desde 2019 é Professora Adjunta na Universidade Federal de Roraima (UFRR). Líder dos grupos de pesquisa: Estudos de literaturas e Identidades (UFRR), Literaturas, Africanidades e minorias sociais (UFRR) e membra do GREG: estudos de gênero (UFRR). Foi coordenadora institucional do PIBID-Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência de 2021 a 2022. É professora permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação Interdisciplinar em Ciências Humanas (PPGICH-UEA), vinculado à Rede Amazônica Interdisciplinar de Programas de Pós-Graduação; e professora permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras (PPGL-UFRR), vinculado à Rede de Programas de Pós-Graduação da Região Norte na Área de Linguística e Literatura. Foi coordenadora do PPGL/UFRR de dez de 2020 a março de 2022.
