Graduated in Physics from the University of Brasilia (1990), Master in Physics from the University of Brasilia (1993) and doctorate in Theoretical Chemistry-Physics - Universita Degli Studi Perugia, Italy (1997) and Post-Doctorate in the Departments of Physics and Chemistry, Quantum Theory Project, University of Florida, USA (2014-2015). He is currently Full Professor at the Physics Institute of the University of Brasília. Has experience in Atomic and Molecular Physics, with emphasis on Collision Processes and Interactions of Atoms and Molecules, acting mainly on the following topics: Calculation of electronic structure of molecular complexes; Calculation of dynamic and kinetic properties of reactive collisional processes via the quasi-classical trajectory and transition state theory methods and solution of the nuclear Schrödinger equation; Fitting of potential energy surfaces of bonded and unbonded molecular systems.
