Amanda Alves de Melo Ximenes

Doutoranda no programa de pós-graduação em Genética e Biologia Molecular da Universidade Federal de Goiás. Mestre em Genética e Biologia Molecular (PGBM-UFG, 2021). Licenciada em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2018), com período de graduação sanduíche na Universidade de Wisconsin - Madison, EUA, pelo Visiting International Student Program (2015-2016), através da bolsa do programa Ciências sem Fronteiras (CAPES). Bolsista de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC), fomentada pelo CNPq, durante o período 2016-2018 pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG) no Laboratório de Genética e Biodiversidade, atuando na área de genética da conservação. Presidente do Floresta Cheia Instituto de Conservação Ambiental de dezembro 2020 - agosto 2022 e pesquisadora do Projeto Bicudos do Cerrado.

PhD in progress at the program of Genetics and Molecular Biology of the Federal University of Goiás. Masters in Genetics and Molecular Biology (PGBM-UFG, 2021). Graduated in Biological Sciences in 2018 at the Federal University of Goiás with an exchange year at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA, by the Visiting International Student Program (2015-2016) through the program Science without borders sponsored by CAPES. Student of the Program of Scholarship for Scientific Initiation (PIBIC) funded by CNPq through the years of 2016-2018 at the Federal University of Goiás at the Laboratory of Genetics and Biodiversity, working on the area of conservation genetics. President of the Institute of Environmental Conservation Floresta Cheia from December 2020 to August 2022 and researcher at the Bicudos do Cerrado Project.
