Residency in Internal Medicine at the Brotherhood of Santa Casa de Misericordia de Sao Paulo (2004-2006). Stage as international fellow at Harvard Medical School program for Geriatric departments and Cognitive Neurology and Behavior (2006-2008). Internship in geriatric psychiatry at LIM27 Neuroscience Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP) (2008-2009). Masters in Gerontology Faculty of Medical Sciences of the State University of Campinas (2008). Doctorate in Medicine Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP) (2013). Fellow elected by the American College of Physicians. Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine of Jundiaí (FMJ) (2014-2017). Professor of the Graduate Program in Health Sciences from the FMJ. Associate Professor and Professor of the Graduate Program of the Department of Psychiatry of FMUSP. Coordinator of the Behavioral Changes Clinic (ACID) of Geriatric FMUSP. It operates in various welfare activities, teaching and research in key research areas: cognitive and behavioral disorders in elderly and frailty in elderly people with neuropsychiatric disorders.

É Professor Associado e Coordenador da Disciplina de Geriatria da Faculdade de Medicina de Jundiaí (FMJ). Docente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Saúde pela FMJ. Possui o título de Honorary Research Fellow no University Center for Psychiatry (Department of Geriatric Psychiatry), University of Groningen, em Groningen, Holanda. Fellow eleito pelo American College of Physicians. Linhas de pesquisa principais: transtornos cognitivos e do humor em idosos, sarcopenia e fragilidade em idosos.
