Marcos Antônio Menezes Queiroz

Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia completed in 1988 and Master in Architecture, Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia completed in 2003 and Doctorate in Architecture, Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia completed in 2013. He is currently Associate Professor I of the Federal University from Bahia. Has experience in Architecture and Urbanism, with an emphasis on Building Design, acting on the following subjects: Theory and Criticism of Architecture and Urbanism, Theory of Architectural Design, Research on Plastic Means of Architecture: Shapes and Colors, Creativity and Design , Landscape Design, Bioarchitecture and Geobiology, Cognitive Psychology Applied to Creative Processes of Architectural Design, Research on the Language of Patterns and Christopher Alexander's Participatory Process, Social Interest Housing and Self-Construction, Sustainable Design, Environment and Architecture.

Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal da Bahia concluída em 1988 e Mestrado em Arquitetura, Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal da Bahia concluído em 2003 e Doutorado em Arquitetura, Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal da Bahia concluído em 2013. Atualmente é professor Associado I da Universidade Federal da Bahia. Tem experiência na área de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, com ênfase em Projeto de Edificação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Teoria e Crítica de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, Teoria do Projeto Arquitetônico, Pesquisa sobre os Meios Plásticos da Arquitetura: Formas e Cores, Criatividade e Design, Projeto Paisagístico, Bioarquitetura e Geobiologia, Psicologia Cognitiva Aplicada aos Processos Criativos de Projeto Arquitetônico, Pesquisa sobre a Linguagem de Padrões e o Processo Participativo de Christopher Alexander, Habitação de Interesse Social e Autoconstrução, Desenho Sustentável, Meio Ambiente e Arquitetura.
