Graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS - 2007); Post - graduation, residency, in Internal Medicine at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP/EPM - 2011), and Haematology and Haemotherapy at the University of São Paulo (USP - 2015). PhD in Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP - 2020) with a thesis in the area of Molecular Biology, Statistical Models and Survival Analysis in Acute Myeloid Leukemia with a 12-month observership at Oxford University under the supervision of Dr Lynn Quek. He has experience in medicine, with an emphasis on Oncohematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation since 2015. Currently, working as a Clinical Computational Scientist in the group of Dr Lynn Quek, between January/2018 and April/2020 at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (WIMM) at Oxford University as affiliate researcher, and since then at King's College London (KCL) (Myeloid Leukaemia Genomics and Biology Group: Apr/2020 to Oct/2021 as affiliate researcher, and from Oct/2021 as post-doctoral researcher), with emphasis on computational molecular biology and multi-omics in the area of biology and epigenetic regulation of Myeloid Neoplasms.
