José Pergentino de Araújo Neto

Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Brasilia and an Assistant Professor at University Center IESB, both in Brasilia, Brazil. I received my M.Sc. degree (2009) from the Center for Advanced Studies and Systems in Recife, Brazil, where I researched on software architecture using a large-scale solution and parallel processes to discover web data using crawlers to apply on a rich web application. I received my B.Sc. degree in Information Systems (2005) from UNIFIP. My Ph.D. research was focused on a resilient agent-based architecture for efficient usage of unreliable transient resources* in cloud computing. As my research results, the MULTS and BRA2Cloud projects are available to run tasks and increase reliability, decreasing time and costs in a cloud user perspective. I am passionate about Software Development/Architecture, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and all related subjects. Teaching is a passion that I have been practicing for more than 10 years.

Possui graduação em Sistemas de Informação - Faculdades Integradas de Patos (2005), mestrado em Engenharia de Software pelo Centro de Estudos e Sistemas Avançados do Recife (2009) e doutorado em Informática pela Universidade de Brasília - UnB (2019). Além disso, realiza consultoria em soluções de TI e atualmente é professor do Instituto de Educação Superior de Brasília - IESB. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação em Sistemas de Informação, Arquitetura de Software, Sistemas Distribuídos, Inteligência Artificial e Sistemas Multiagentes.
