Darlan Florêncio de Arruda

Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School at The University of Pernambuco - POLI / UPE - Brazil (2014). Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from The University of Pernambuco - UPE - Brazil (2011). Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario (2019) conducting research on Requirements Engineering for Big Data applications. Experienced in Computer Science with emphasis on Software Quality and Testing, I have worked for approx. 4 years as a software test engineer performing test activities in a variety of projects and systems (e.g., Mobile, Desktop, Web and Oracle Databases). Experienced in the planning, execution and management of both functional and non-functional tests (e.g., performance) for different types of systems. In addition, I have experience in leading small teams up to 7 people. On the academic front, I have been working as a reviewer of conferences and scientific Journals. Also, I am a Graduate teaching assistant at The University of Western Ontario. My research interests include: Requirements Engineering, Software Metrics, Big Data, Decision-Making and Information Systems.

Possui experiência em Ciência da Computação com ênfase em Gestão de Qualidade, Engenharia de Requisitos e Teste de Software. Mestrado em Engenharia de Computação pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de Pernambuco - POLI/UPE (2014). Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação pela Universidade de Pernambuco - UPE (2011). Atualmente é candidato ao título de doutor em Ciência da Computação na University of Western Ontario (2019). Interesses de Pesquisa: Engenharia de Requisitos, Arquitetura e Métricas de Software, Big Data e Sistemas de Informação.
