Fagner Augusto de Magalhães
Magalhães has 12 years of experience. Won important environmental awards in Brazil as technical coordinator, such as Von Martius Environmental Award and Petrobras Environmental Award. From 2005 to 2006 worked as technical Director in a Marine Conservation NGO. On 2007 moved to Petrobras to work as an Environmental Analyst onboard Oceanographic Vessels along Brazilian Coast, overseeing water, sediment and plankton sampling, also worked on contract management organizing vessel schedule, including negotiation with stakeholders. On 2012 started work in Witt O?Brien?S Brazil (WOB) as Planning Section Chief Deputy inside a TIER 3 Oil Spill Emergency in Frade Field (Brazil). On 2013 became Emergency Dpt. Manager in WOB and was transferred to work as Operations Section Chief in the same incident. Also, was responsible to plan, execute and control of tabletop and full deployment Drills, for several clients such as Petrobras, TOTAL, Chevron, BG. On April 2015 was hired by Repsol Peru to develop an Emergency Plan for hazardous products spill along Ucayali and Urubamba rivers, in the heart of Peruvian Amazon Forest. On November 2015 worked as Emergency Management Consultant in the worst Environmental incident occurred in Brazil, more specifically at Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo States. On January 2016 was invited to join Gardline Brazil as an Environmental Manager in order to manage a Contract with Petrobras related to Oceanographic Survey.
