Luciane Neves Canha Dra

Full Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), CNPq Researcher PQ-1D and Senior Member of the IEEE. She is a Doctor in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2004). She completed her Master Degree (1996) and Undergrad in Electrical Engineering (1994) from the Federal University of Santa Maria. In 2021 she was included among the 21 Most Influential Women in Mobility in the World by Vulog (Vulog`s Top 21 Influential Women in Mobility). In 2022 she received the Researcher Gaúcho Award from the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Rio Grande do Sul. She is a doctoral and master's advisor at Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at UFSM (7 CAPES Concept). She has experience in strategic research and development projects for the electricity sector. She coordinated ANEEL's strategic R&D projects with ELETROSUL and Companhia Paranaense de Energia Elétrica ? COPEL-DIS. She currently coordinates the strategic R&D project ANEEL Multi-Agent Innovation Interface Involving the Automotive Industry, Energy Systems and Electric Mobility Infrastructures for Intelligent Highways-Chamada nº 022/2019 (started in December 2019). She was responsible for installing the first electric vehicle fast charging station in Rio Grande do Sul. She is a member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) and IEEE Women in Engineering (WiE). She has experience in the field of electrical engineering, with an emphasis on electrical power systems, energy transition, renewable energy sources, smart grids, energy storage, distributed generation, electrical energy management and electrical mobility. His areas of interest in research, development and innovation are: smart grids, energy storage, distributed energy resources, energy management, renewable energy, electric mobility, energy transition and transactive energy.

Professora Titular da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), Pesquisadora PQ-1D do CNPq e Membro Senior do IEEE. É Doutora em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2004). Concluiu o Mestrado (1996) e a Graduação (1994) em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Em 2021 foi incluída entre as 21 Mulheres Mais Influentes da Mobilidade no Mundo pela Vulog (Vulog`s Top 21 Influential Women in Mobility). Em 2022 recebeu o Prêmio Pesquisador Gaúcho da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Rio Grande do Sul na Categoria Pesquisador na Empresa. Orienta pesquisas de doutorado e mestrado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica da UFSM (Conceito 7 CAPES), bem como iniciação científica, trabalhos de conclusão e estágios na área de engenharia elétrica, smart grids e eletromobilidade. Tem experiência no desenvolvimento de pesquisas estratégicas para o setor elétrico. Coordenou projetos de P&D estratégicos da ANEEL junto a ELETROSUL e Companhia Paranaense de Energia Elétrica ? COPEL-DIS. Atualmente coordena o projeto de P&D estratégico ANEEL Interface de Inovação Multi Agente Envolvendo a Indústria Automobilística, os Sistemas de Energia e Infraestruturas de Mobilidade Elétrica para Eletrovias Inteligentes - Chamada nº 022/2019 (iniciado em dezembro de 2019). Foi responsável pela instalação do primeiro eletroposto rápido para recargas de veículos elétricos do Rio Grande do Sul. É membro do IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) e IEEE Women in Engineering (WiE). Tem experiência na área de engenharia elétrica, com ênfase em sistemas elétricos de potência, transição energética, fontes renováveis de energia, redes elétricas inteligentes, armazenamento de energia, geração distribuída, gestão da energia elétrica e mobilidade elétrica. Suas área de interesse em pesquisa, desenvolvimento e inovação são: smart grids, energy storage, distributed energy resources, energy management, renewable energy, electric mobility, energy transition and transactive energy.
