Postdoc at Emory University - Dept. of Biomedical Engineering (Atlanta/GA, USA), in the laboratory of Prof. Philip J. Santangelo. Previously a postdoctoral fellow at the Dept. of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology, in the laboratory of Prof. Lian Li, PPG-Molecular Pathology at the University of Brasilia (UnB), at the Lab. of Immunology and Inflammation (LIMI) and post-doctoral fellow at the PPG-Medical Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)/Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA), in the Research Group Pharmacology of Pain and Neuromodulation: Investigations Pre -Clinics CNPq/UFRGS.It develops research focused on the inflammatory, immune, molecular and pharmacological mechanisms of different pathologies, such as cancer, infectious diseases, obesity, sepsis, Alzheimer's and acute/chronic pain.Experience in molecular biology techniques, immunoassays, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy, animal models as well as in vitro and in vivo neuromodulatory techniques (tDCS, TMS and rTMS).PhD in Molecular Biology from the PPG-Molecular Biology at the University of Brasília (UnB), he holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and a degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelor's Degree) from the same university. He was part of the Immunology and Inflammation (UnB) laboratories; of Electronic Microscopy (UnB) and the Nucleus of Pharmacology of Pain and Neuromodulation (UFRGS).Interest in the areas of Inflammation, Immunology, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on cancer, infectious diseases and physiology of the nervous system.

Fez parte dos laboratórios de Imunologia e Inflamação (UnB); de Microscopia Eletrônica (UnB) e do Núcleo de Farmacologia da Dor e Neuromodulação (UFRGS).Interesse pelas áreas de Inflamação, Imunologia, Biologia Celular e Biologia Molecular, com ênfase em câncer, doenças infecciosas e fisiologia do sistema nervoso.
