Mining engineer specialized on clay minerals 10 years of industrial working experience.Master degree in Advanced Clay Science, passing through 4 of the most recognized universities in the topic of clays and clay minerals,worldwide, in 4 different countries.Most of my professional life, has been as an entrepreneur, dealing with: *Mireal processing: Kilns, dryers, mills, crushers, separation, concentration, automation and in general, plant instalation/starp-up. * Industril Minerals: Limestone/lime, kaolin, ball clay, bentonite, pyrophyllite, gypsum, silica sand and more. In my research/academic life, I have dedicated myself to master a set characterization techniques applied to industrial minerals in order to comprehend structural features usually linked to geological environments that tend to influence raw mineral's behavior when it comes to industrial applications. Moreover, I find that proper characterization combined with strategic mining is a fundamental practice for a successful raw mineral supply and market targeting. Consequently, correlating geological/mining variables to processing phenomenon, quality control or new product developments are definitely in my scope.
