Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas (FAESA), Mestrado em Genética e Melhoramento pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV) e Doutorado em Genética, pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP/USP), com período sanduíche no Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) na Holanda. Tem experiência na área de (Epi)Genomica voltadapara o desenvolvimento embrionário, doenças reprodutivas e cancer, incluindo estratégias de tratamento (Epidrogas) e edição genica (CRISPR) para determinação de alvos farmacológicos e mecanismos de ação. Foi Professora Visitante da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Médico Cirúrgicas, vinculada ao Núcleo de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de Medicamentos (NPDM) da UFC e Pesquisador convidado no Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) na Holanda. Atualmente é pesquisadora na Universidade de Fortaleza (UNIFOR) e colaborador de pesquisa no NPDM e FMRP-USP e Bolsista de Produtividade PQ-2. Atua ainda como revisora dos periódicos internacionais, Reproductive Sciences, Journal of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, Scientific Reports, BMC Genomics, Frontiers in Oncology, PNAS.
Graduate at Biology from Faculdades Integradas de São Pedro (2004), master's at Genetics and Breeding from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2007) PhD in Genetics from Ribeirao Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo. with a sandwich period at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in Leiden, Netherlands, where he developed work on epigenetic reprogramming in embryonic stem cells and fetal and placental development. He has experience in (Epi)Genetics with emphasis on reproductive medicine and embryonic development, especially Genomic Imprinting syndromes, X chromosome inactivation, Telomero/Telomerase. She has been developing research in the area of epigenetic reprogramming in cancer and development of treatment strategies (Epidrugs) and gene editing (CRISPR) in tumor development. She was a visiting professor at the Surgery Department of UFC and is currently a collaborating researcher at the Center for Drug Research and Development and at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Human Reproduction sector, Hospital das Clinicas, FMRP-USP.
