I obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria (2001), and Masters of Science degree in Microbiology at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria (2006). I earned my PhD in Microbiology at the University of Fort Hare, South Africa (2010). I also hold certificates in several aspects of Infectious diseases, Public Health, Biotechnology, and Molecular biology from reputable institutions on the continents of Africa, Europe and South America. I have been involved in researches and teaching in water quality, water resource management, applied and environmental microbiology, microbial biotechnology, microbial ecology / biodiversity, pathogenic and infectious disease / public health / molecular epidemiology. My activities have also been involved the supervision of undergraduate, postgraduate (MSc and PhD) students in these areas.
