Sandro Klippel

I have a degree in Oceanography from the Federal University of Rio Grande and a PhD in Earth System Science by the Brazilian National Institute of Space Research. I have experience in Oceanography, with emphasis on interaction between marine organisms and environmental parameters. Today I am an Environmental Analyst at the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources, working mainly with remote sensing of environment and biodiversity conservation.

Possuo graduação em oceanografia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande e doutorado em CIÊNCIA DO SISTEMA TERRESTRE pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais. Tenho experiência em mineração de dados espaciais, com ênfase em Interação entre os Organismos Marinhos e os Parâmetros Ambientais. Atualmente sou Analista Ambiental do Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis, atuando principalmente com sensoriamento remoto e conservação da biodiversidade.
