Douglas Ferreira Parreira

I have experience in the design and execution of laboratory, greenhouse, and field experiments including disease evaluations, disease diagnosis, and disease management, including both biological and chemical controls. I have a strong background in statistical analysis and I have developed and used molecular tools for diagnostics and studies of pathogen populations. I also have experience as a successful team manager from my work at Monsanto and at EMBRAPA (Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária), including budgeting, personnel management, quality control, and record keeping. I am a team player with good oral and written communication skills in English.
