Mauro Claro

Graduation, Master and Doctorate in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo. Professor Researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University where he vice the 'Urban Questions: Design, Architecture, Planning, Landscape' group, which operates in the Jardim Piratininga neighborhood (Penha, Sao Paulo) with a neighborhood research research . It also participates in the research entitled 'Care Cartographies: Urban Issues' in the same research group. In 2015 coordinated the International Wat-Unesco_Tiquatira São Paulo Urban Design Workshop. Coordinated in 2013-2014 the elaboration of the Pedagogical Project of the Design course. He published a book on the Unilabor work community in 2004 by Senac Editora and instructed, in 2002, requests for protection of the architectural ensemble of Unilabor workshops and Calpla do Cristo Operário that resulted in their protection at the municipal, state and federal levels.

Professor pesquisador na Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie onde vice-lidera o grupo 'QUESTÕES URBANAS: DESIGN, ARQUITETURA, PLANEJAMENTO, PAISAGEM', que atua no bairro Jardim Piratininga (Penha, São Paulo) com uma pesquisa sobre plano de bairrro. Participa também da pesquisa intitulada 'Cartografias do cuidado: questões urbanas', no mesmo grupo de pesquisa. Coordenou em 2015 a oficina internacional de desenho urbano WAT-UNESCO_TIQUATIRA SÃO PAULO. Coordenou em 2013-2014 a elaboração do projeto pedagógico do Curso Design. Publicou um livro sobre a comunidade de trabalho Unilabor em 2004 pela editora Senac e instruiu, em 2002, pedidos de proteção do conjunto arquitetônico das oficinas da Unilabor e Capela do Cristo Operário que resultaram na sua proteção nos níveis municipal, estadual e federal.
