Filippe Elias de Freitas Soares

Bacharel em Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Mestre e Doutor em Bioquímica Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Tem experiência na produção, purificação e caracterização de enzimas. Realizou pós-doutoramento desenvolvendo pesquisas sobre fungos nematófagos, particularmente sobre basidiomicetos. Trabalha também com plantas produtoras de látex com atividade nematicida. É colaborador e orientador no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Biologia da Relação Parasito-Hospedeiro do Instituto de Patologia Tropical e Saúde Pública da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). Atualmente é professor adjunto na Universidade Federal de Lavras e orientador nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Agroquímica e em Biotecnologia Vegetal da UFLA. Coordena o Laboratório de Bioquímica no Departamento de Química da UFLA. Criador e professor orientador do Núcleo de Estudos em Enzimologia.

Bachelor in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Viçosa, Master and Doctor in Agricultural Biochemistry from the Federal University of Viçosa. He has experience in the production, purification and characterization of enzymes. He carried out a post-doctoral degree developing research on nematophagous fungi, particularly on basidiomycetes. He also works with plants that produce latex with nematicidal activity. He is a collaborator and advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Biology of the Parasite-Host Relationship at the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health at the Federal University of Goiás. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Lavras and advisor in the Postgraduate Programs in Agrochemistry and Plant Biotechnology at UFLA. He coordinates the Biochemistry Laboratory at the Department of Chemistry at UFLA. Creator and guiding professor of the Center for Studies in Enzymology.
