Doutora em Literatura pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Linha de Pesquisa: Subjetividade, Memória e História. O tema da tese trata sobre a recepção da cultura de massa na sociedade contemporânea. O objeto de estudo é a saga épica de fantasia "As Crônicas de Gelo e Fogo" de George R. R. Martin e sua respectiva adaptação para a série televisiva "Game of Thrones". Aluna bolsista da CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior durante o doutorado. Anteriormente, cursou o mestrado em em Letras: Linguagem e Sociedade, linha de pesquisa: Linguagem Literária, Interfaces Sociais: Estudos Comparados pela Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE).Também é especialista em Língua Inglesa pela Faculdade Assis Gurgacz (FAG) e formada em Letras Português/Inglês (UNIOESTE). Tem experiência como professora de Redação, Língua Portuguesa, Língua Inglesa e respectivas Literaturas em nível Superior, Médio e Fundamental. Também possui experiência de ensino na rede privada e pública para alunos de diferentes faixas etárias. PhD in Literature from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. Research line: Subjectivity, Memory and History. My thesis is about the mass media and reception, my study subject is the series of epic fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin and their respective television show A Game of Thrones. I was a scholarship student from CAPES Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior during the doctorate . Previously, Ive taken a Master degree in Letters: Language and Society, line of research: Literary Language, Social Interfaces: Compared Studies from the Western Paraná State University (UNIOESTE). I have also taken a specialization course (lato sensu) in English Language from Assis Gurgacz College (FAG) and I have a degree in Portuguese and English from the Western Paraná State University (UNIOESTE).
