Pedro Henrique Gomes Muniz

Doutor em filosofia da linguagem pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), com pesquisa sobre a dinâmica cognitiva dos pensamentos de se. Mestrado também em filosofia da linguagem, igualmente pela PUC-Rio, com pesquisa sobre a noção fregeana de pensamento, o fenômeno da dinâmica cognitva e pensamentos na primeira pessoa, sob orientação do prof. Ludovic Soutif. Bacharel em filosofia pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), com participação no projeto de pesquisa intitulado 'Compreensão Linguística Espontânea', sob orientação do prof. André Leclerc. Também pesquisou a teoria fregeana da verdade sob orientação do prof. Dirk Greimann. Trabalhou como pesquisador no Lead - Centro de Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inovação Dell em Fortaleza. Trabalhou como professor na Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE) entre 2021 e 2022. Iniciou uma segunda formação na área de tecnologia da informação e é bolsista do programa Apple Developer Academy (IFCE, 2022-23). Principais interesses incluem filosofia da linguagem e da mente, ciências cognitivas, lógica, inteligência artificial e processamento de linguagem natural.

I got my PhD in philosophy of language at the Department of Philosophy at Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in 2017. During my PhD research, I investigated how cognitive dynamics can be studied in the case of thoughts about oneself (de se thoughts). I also hold a Master's degree in the same field of expertise, which I also obtained at PUC-Rio in 2013. During my MA, I did a research on the notion of Fregean thought, the phenomenon of cognitive dynamics and I-thoughts, under the supervision of prof. Ludovic Soutif. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in philosophy at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) in 2011, and during that time I took part in two research projects: one was about spontaneous linguistic understanding, supervised by prof. André Leclerc, and the other was about the Fregean theory of truth, directed by prof. Dirk Greimann. I worked as a researcher at Lead - a Research, Development and Innovation Center for Dell Technologies in Fortaleza. I held a teaching position at the State University of Ceará (UECE) between 2021 and 2022. I've also started a new BA program in the field of information technology and am a trainee at the Apple Developer Academy program (IFCE, class of 2022-23). Main interests include philosophy of language and mind, cognitive sciences, logic, artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
