Oscar Hernando Bohorquez Martinez

I worked in the simulation of a Maxwell' demon on the context of the information theory and the problem of the violation of the thermodynamics second law.I researched topics related to the atomic and electronic structure of the matter and the ultrafast phenomena. In specific, effects arising from the interaction of ultrafast laser pulses with molecules of hydrocarbons and carbon nanotubes.Currently my Ph.d. project focuses on the areas of quantum transport, quantum thermodynamics and quantum information. In particular, the thermodynamics of feedback controlled dynamics systems.
