Allysson Allan de Farias

Bacharel e licenciado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (2010). Mestre em Arqueologia pela Universidade Federal da Pernambuco (2013). Doutor em Genética pelo Instituto de Biociências da Universidade de São Paulo (2018). Pós-doutorado em genômica populacional pelo Departamento de Biologia da Università degli studi di Padova (2021). Atuei como cientista de dados na Hapvida (2020) e no Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (2021 - 2022). Atuei também como especialista em inteligência artificial na Farmácias Pague Menos (2022 -2023). Atuo como gestor de bioinformática e pós-doutorando na Fundação Oswaldo Cruz - Ceará (2023 - ). Tenho experiência com bioinformática, ancestralidade, evolução humana e genética médica populacional.

Bachelor and Licentiate degree in Biological Sciences at the State University of Paraíba (2010). Master in Archeology at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2013). PhD in Genetics by the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo (2018). I worked from 2014 to 2018 in the Human Genetics Laboratory of the Biosciences Institute at the University of São Paulo, and collaborated with the Human Genome Studies Center (CEGH - USP) in the area of Population Medical Genetics. I am one of the authors of the first book written in Latin America on Human Evolution ("Assim caminhou a humanidade", Ed. Palas Athena). During my doctorate I investigated the origins and ages of several rare genetic diseases in Northeast Brazil. For more than ten years I have collaborated with the Community Genetics Research group at the Center for Studies in Genetics and Education at the State University of Paraíba (NEGE-UEPB). I have experience with bioinformatics, ancestry, human evolution and population medical genetics.
