Joelson Lopes da Paixão

Completed high school at the João Ferrari State School of Basic Education (2010). He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from UNIJUÍ (2016), with emphasis on Energy and Electronics Systems and Automation. He is a specialist in Higher Education and Distance Learning Methodology from UniFAEL (2018) and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from UFSM (2019). From 2013 to 2016 he worked as a scholarship student at the Industrial Automation and Control Group (GAIC), at Unijuí's DECEng. From 2017 to 2020 he was a professor of Electrotechnics and Electronics at the Miguel Calmon State Institute of Education (IEEMC). Main areas of interest in research and development are: Smart Grids, Distributed Generation, Fuzzy Systems, Renewable Energy Sources, Electric Vehicles, Electric Energy Management, Electric Energy Storage Systems, Policies and Governance in the Electric Sector, Microgrids, DSM and Energy Pricing, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, IT in general applied to the electricity sector, etc.

Concluiu o Ensino Médio pela Escola Estadual de Educação Básica João Ferrari (2010). É graduado em Engenharia Elétrica pela UNIJUÍ (2016), com ênfases em Sistemas de Energia e Eletrônica e Automação. É especialista em Metodologia do Ensino Superior e EAD pela UniFAEL (2018) e mestre em Engenharia Elétrica pela UFSM (2019). De 2013 a 2016 atuou como aluno bolsista no Grupo de Automação Industrial e Controle (GAIC), no DECEng da Unijuí. De 2017 a 2020 foi professor de Eletrotécnica e Eletrônica no Instituto Estadual de Educação Miguel Calmon (IEEMC). Principais áreas de interesse em pesquisa e desenvolvimento são: Smart Grids, Geração Distribuída, Sistemas Fuzzy, Fontes de Energia Renováveis, Veículos Elétricos, Gerenciamento de Energia Elétrica, Sistemas de Armazenamento de Energia Elétrica, Políticas e Governança no Setor Elétrico, Microrredes, GLD e Tarifação Energética, Inteligência Artificial, IoT, TI em geral aplicadas ao setor elétrico, etc.
