Melissa Catrini da Silva

Possui graduação em Fonoaudiologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2001), mestrado (2005) e doutorado (2011) em Linguística Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem pela mesma universidade. É professora Adjunto IV do Departamento de Fonoaudiologia e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Reabilitação, Instituto de Multidisciplinar de Reabilitação e Saúde da Universidade Federal da Bahia, e pós-doutora pelo PPGLAEL/PUCSP (2017-2019). Exerceu a função de Chefe do Departamento de Fonoaudiologia no biênio 2019-2021.Tem formação e experiência na área de Fonoaudiologia e Linguística, com ênfase em Aquisição e Patologias da Linguagem. Atua, principalmente, nos seguintes temas: Linguagem e envelhecimento; Relação entre corpo e linguagem; Afasias, apraxia de fala e demências na Clínica de Linguagem; Método clínico e formação do terapeuta de linguagem; a Clínica de Linguagem no contexto do SUS: possibilidades e reformulações. É membro dos Grupos de Pesquisa CNPq: Práxis e Fonoaudiologia: Saúde, Educação e Sociedade (UFBA) e Aquisição, Patologias e Clínica de Linguagem (PUCSP).

She holds a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2001), a master's degree (2005) and a Ph.D. (2011) in Applied Linguistics and Language Studies from the same university. She is Adjunct Professor IV of the Department of Speech and Hearing Therapy, and Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences, Multidisciplinary Institute of Rehabilitation and Health of the Federal University of Bahia, and postdoctoral student at PPGLAEL / PUCSP (2017-2019). She was She has training and experience in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Linguistics, with emphasis on Acquisition and Language Pathologies. It mainly works on the following topics: Language and aging; Relationship between body and language; Aphasias, speech apraxia and dementias in the Language Clinic; Clinical method and language therapist training; The Language Clinic in the SUS context: possibilities and reformulations. He is a member of the CNPq Research Groups: Praxis and Speech Therapy: Health, Education and Society (UFBA) and Acquisition, Pathologies and Clinical Language (PUCSP).
