Doutor em Memória pelo PPGMLS/UESB - Programa de Pós-graduação em Memória: Linguagem e Sociedade/Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia. Graduando em Letras - Língua Portuguesa - segunda licenciatura pela Universidade Estácio. Possui graduação em História pela UESB (1998); especialização em História: Política, Cultura e Sociedade (2011) pela mesma universidade; mestrado em Letras: Cultura, Educação e Linguagens (2015), também pela UESB. Atualmente é professor do Curso Pré-Vestibular Dom Climério, que atende principalmente afro-brasileiros(vinculado a APN'S) e professor efetivo da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Vitória da Conquista (BA). Atua principalmente com os seguintes temas: cultura, educação, ciência, memória, cultura afro-brasileira , relações étnico-raciais, identidade, gênero e história geral.

Graduated in History from UESB - State University of Southwest Bahia (1998); specialization in History: Politics, Culture and Society (2011) from the same university; Master of Arts: Culture, Education and Languages (2015), also by UESB. He is currently professor Course Pre-College Dom Climério, which caters mainly african-Brazilians and the population of low economic income (linked APN`S) and professor of the Municipal of Vitoria da Conquista Education (BA). It operates on the following topics: education, african-Brazilian culture, ethnic-racial prejudice, updates, general history.
