Renato da Costa Teixeira

Physiotherapist from the School of Rehabilitation of Rio de Janeiro (1977), Master in Education - University Teaching by the Latin American and Caribbean Pedagogical Institute recognized by the University of the State of Pará (2000), Doctorate in Education by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2010). He is currently Adjunct Professor IV at the University of the State of Pará, working in the Undergraduate Course in Physiotherapy and in the Postgraduate Program in Health Education in the Amazon PPGESA) where he is coordinator for the 2021/2023 biennium. He also works in the Postgraduate Program in Health in the Amazon of the Tropical Medicine Center of the Federal University of Pará. He has experience in the field of Respiratory Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, working mainly on the following themes: HEALTH TEACHING, PHYSIOTHERAPY and QUALITY OF LIFE. He is leader of the Research Group on Functional Health and Quality of Life and of the Research Group on Educational Processes in Health in the Amazon.

Possui graduação em Fisioterapia pela Escola de Reabilitação do Rio de Janeiro (1977), Mestrado em Educação - Docência Universitária pelo Instituto Pedagógico Latinoamericano e Caribenho reconhecido pela Universidade do Estado do Pará (2000), Doutorado em Educação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2010). Atualmente é professor Adjunto IV da Universidade do Estado do Pará, atuando no Curso de Graduação em Fisioterapia e no Programa de Pós-graduação em Ensino em Saúde na Amazônia (PPGESA) onde é coordenador para op biênio 2021/2023. Atua também no Programa de Pós-graduação em Saúde na Amazônia do Núcleo de Medicina Tropical da Universidade Federal do Pará. Tem experiência na área de Fisioterapia Respiratória, com ênfase em Reabilitação Pulmonar, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ENSINO EM SAÚDE, FISIOTERAPIA e QUALIDADE DE VIDA. É líder do Grupo de Pesquisa em Saúde Funcional e Qualidade de Vida e do Grupo de Pesquisa em Processos Formativos em Saúde na Amazônia.
