Possui graduação em Neurociências pela University of Florida, EUA (1994) e graduação em Medicina pela Universidade de São Paulo (1999). Fez pós graduação em Medicina do Exercício e do Esporte (Universidade Estácio de Sá - 2000) e Residência Médica em Ortopedia e Traumatologia pelo Instituto de Ortopedia e Traumatologia do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP (2005). Fez especialização em Ortopedia Pediátrica (IOT - HCFMUSP 2006-2007) e Fellowship em Reconstrução e Alongamento Ósseo no Sinai Hospital Baltimore- USA (2008). Fez doutorado pela Faculdade de Medicina da USP (2018). Atualmente é médica do corpo clínico do IOT-HCFMUSP e Professora Colaboradora da FMUSP. É orientadora do programa de pós-graduação de ciências do sistema musculoesquelético da FMUSP e tem alunos da graduação da FMUSP em iniciação científica. É Coordenadora do Centro Integrado de Neuro-ortopedia FMUSP e Coordenadora do ambulatório de Pé Torto Congênito do IOT-HCFMUSP. Responsável pelo acordo científico institucional entre IOTHCFMUSP e International Perthes Study Group (Estudo Multicêntrico em Doença de Perthes - liderado pelo Scottish Rite Hospital For Children, Dallas, Texas, USA, Prof Harry Kim). Líder do Pilar Estratégico de Crescimento e Expansão do Hip Hope Network (HHN) sediado em Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada liderado por Prof Kishore Mulpuri. Tem título em Ortopedia e Traumatologia (10378) pela Associação Médica Brasileira e SBOT, além de título em Medicina do Exercício e do Esporte (SBMEE) e Ortopedia Pediátrica (SBOP). É fundadora e coordenadora acadêmica do Instituto Remo Meu Rumo (2013-atual) ONG que viabiliza a pratica de remo e canoagem para crianças e adolescentes com deficiência física.
She holds a degree in Neuroscience from the University of Florida, USA (1994) and a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (USP) (1999). She completed a postgraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Medicine (Estacio de Sá University-2000) and a Medical Residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Hospital das Clínicas, Medical School, USP (2005). She specialized in Pediatric Orthopedics (IOT-HCFMUSP 2006-2007) and completed a Fellowship in Bone Reconstruction and Lengthening at Sinai Hospital Baltimore, USA (2008). She received a doctorate degree (PhD) from the University of São Paulo, Medical School (2018). She is currently a staff physician at IOT-HCFMUSP doing clinical and surgical work with the pediatric orthopedics and Neuro-orthopedics groups. She is a Collaborating Professor at FMUSP and an advisor for the postgraduate program of sciences of musculoskeletal system at FMUSP and also has undergraduate students from FMUSP in scientific initiation. She is the Coordinator of the Integrated Center for Neuro-orthopedics at FMUSP and Coordinator of the Clubfoot Outpatient Clinic at IOT-HCFMUSP. Responsible for the institutional scientific agreement between IOTHCFMUSP and the International Perthes Study Group (Multicenter Study in Perthes Disease - led by Scottish Rite Hospital For Children, Dallas, Texas, USA, Prof Harry Kim). Leader of the Growth and Expansion Strategic Pillar of the Hip Hope Network (HHN) based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada led by Prof Kishore Mulpuri. She has a title in Orthopedics and Traumatology (10378) by the Brazilian Medical Association and SBOT, as well as a title in Exercise and Sports Medicine (SBMEE) and Pediatric Orthopedics (SBOP). She is the founder and academic coordinator of Instituto Remo Meu Rumo (2013-current).
