I am the General Coordinator of the Laboratory of Ecology and Conservation of the Technology Sector at the Federal University of Paraná. I have a doctorate (2008) and post-doctorate (2009) in Zoology (PPGZOO) from the Federal University of Paraná. I like Ecology, Evolution and Conservation, especially Biological Invasion Science. I am currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná and accredited as permanent in the PPGECO and PPGEA programs. I am a consultant for agencies such as CAPES, CNPq, The National Geographyc Foundation, The National Research Foundation - South Africa, Rufford Foundation and several scientific journals (eg Diversity and Distributions, Conservation Biology, Biological invades, Fish and Fisheries and Hidrobiologia). I am Associate Editor of Biological Invasions, BIR and Aquatic Invasions. I am currently coordinator of the chapter on IMPACTS of the Brazilian Diagnosis on Invasive Alien Species, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services of the Brazilian Platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BPBES). Researcher in Residence at the Rockefeller Foundation (Bellagio, Italy, 2014) and at the Center of Excellence for Invasion Biology - CIB 2015). We have, Conservation and Zoology, with ambitions, areas of experience, rivers, animals, homogenization, biological and biological, forests, environmental areas, invasive areas, continents, homogenization, biological and biological, Atlantic areas, invaders, continents, organic and biological. I have 149 articles in indexed journals and 17 book chapters already.published.I also highlight that I am honored to have collaborated and have as partners iconic and erudite figures in ecology such as Daniel Simberloff, one of the greatest ecologists of all time, and to be a founding partner and full activist in the projects International Association for Open Knowledge on Invasive Alien Species ( INVASIVESNET - https://www.invasivesnet.org/) and Hi Knowledge tools partner projects (https://hi-knowledge.org/) and Knowledge synthesis and community building in invasion ecology and beyond! Tenho experiência nas áreas de Ecologia, Conservação e Zoologia, com ênfase em: ictiofauna, espécies introduzidas, neobiota, invasões biológicas, fusão invasora, homogeneização biótica, ecologia trófica, Floresta atlântica, Rio Iguaçu e Ambientes aquáticos continentais. Tenho 149 artigos em periódicos indexados e 17 capítulos de livros já publicados. Destaco também que tenho a honra de ter colaborado e ter como parceiros figuras icônicas e eruditas da ecologia como o Daniel Simberloff um dos maiores ecólogos de todos os tempos e ser sócio fundador e ativista pleno nos projetos International Association for Open Knowledge on Invasive Alien Species (INVASIVESNET - https://www.invasivesnet.org/) e Hi Knowledge tools partner projects (https://hi-knowledge.org/) e Knowledge synthesis and community building in invasion ecology and beyond!
