Rafael Michelin Laboissière

Possui graduação em Engenharia de Eletrônica pelo Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1986), mestrado em Engenharia Eletrônica e Computação pelo Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1988) e doutorado em Signal/Image/Parole - Institut National Polytechique de Grenoble (1992). Desde 1992, é pesquisador do Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, França. Efetua pesquisa nas áreas de percepção e produção da fala, desenvolvimento da linguagem e controle motor humano. Possui ampla experiência em projetos de pesquisa internacionais, como em projetos da Comunidade Européia e participação em financiamentos do National Institute of Health (NIH/USA) em colaboração com o Departamento de Psicologia da Universidade McGill. De 2001 a 2006 liderou a equipe "Sensorimotor Coordination" no Max-Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences em Munique, investigando relações entre percepção e ação. De 2007 a 2013 trabalhou no Lyon Neuroscience Research Center, aproximando-se da pesquisa clínica em audiologia e das neurociências. Trabalha atualmente no Laboratoire de Psychologie et NeuroCognition (LPNC) de Grenoble.

Rafael Laboissière holds the degree of Electronics Engineer from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (1986) , Master in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (1988 ) and Doctor in Signal/Image/Parole from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (1992). Since 1992 he is a researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France, performing research in the areas of speech production and perception, language development and human motor control. He has large experience in international research projects, including projects of the European Community, and participation in funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH/USA) in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at McGill University. From 2001 to 2006 led the team "Sensorimotor Coordination" at the Max-Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Munich, investigating relationships between perception and action. From 2007 to 2013 he worked at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center, narrowing the connection with clinical research in audiology and neuroscience. Currently works at the Laboratoire de Psychologie et Neurocognition (LPNC) of Grenoble.
